I graduated from Leeds University in 2001, and immediately embarked upon a career in General Dental Practice. I particularly enjoyed the varied mix of treatments and people I get to meet on a day to basis. My special interests within Dentistry are in treating nervous patients through natural means, cosmetic dentistry & utilising the latest ‘gadgets’ to help patients and deliver the best dental care.

Rebekah is one of our Dentists. She graduated from Barts and The London in 2017 and moved up to Yorkshire (her spiritual home). As well as general dentistry she offers some facial aesthetics treatments. She has 2 daughters and enjoys baking with them on the weekends.
Mrs Lavanya Mellachervu
Practice Manager
Lavanya is the practice manager and she is responsible for the background running of the practice to ensure the practice is compliant in areas of health & safety, information governance, audits, etc. She is a member of ADAM (Association of Dental Managers). Please see our Care Quality Commission report and Family and Friends test responses. When Lavanya has spare time she likes to read, run and teach fitness.
Kirsty McAra-Marsh
Dental Hygiene Therapist

Kirsty is our Dental Hygienist and Therapist. She graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2016 and has worked at Crigglestone since 2020. She has a very gentle and caring nature with patients and enjoys restoring teeth to not only function well but to look and feel great too.
She lives in Woolley Grange with her husband Dan, son Tristan and two cats Bertie and Stan. In her spare time she enjoys running and playing the piano and you can sometimes hear her belting out a show tune or two in between patients!

Proud Yorkshire woman, Wakefield born and bred. Graduated from Scarborough University as a Primary school teacher many moons ago, and has worked with every age range from toddlers to OAPs since. Still not sure what I want to do when I grow up, I'm sure I'll have a light bulb moment eventually!
Can be found engrossed in a book trying to escape reality, optimistically working through my library of 1000 books - "There's no such thing as too many books, just not enough bookcases"

Hi, I’m Nilopher, and I’m a Senior Dental Nurse here at Crigglestone Dental Practice. I’ve been part of the team for the past 7 years, working closely with both dentists and dental therapists.
I really enjoy my role, especially helping patients feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease throughout their treatment.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I love shopping!

Hi I’m Shirl, I’ve been at Crigglestone for 10 years now. You’ll find me on the front desk Thursdays and Fridays. I love chatting with our patients, booking appointments and helping with queries. In my spare time I enjoy eating out, meeting new people and a reit good time round Barnsley bars/restaurants (excuse the Barnsley accent 😀). I also have 2 dachshunds, Colin & Lulu who keep me busy. I’m approaching the big 60 soon and am looking forward to my wish come true with a trip to Paris.
MisS Megan Robershaw

I’m a qualified Dental Nurse here at Crigglestone Dental, where I work alongside Tej, the practice owner. I’m passionate about providing excellent patient care and making sure every patient feels comfortable, supported and at ease throughout their visit.
I enjoy being part of a team that puts patients first and takes pride in delivering a high standard of care. I’m friendly, approachable and always happy to help make each patient’s experience as positive as possible. I particularly enjoy assisting with implants, surgical extractions and minor oral surgery, and I’m always keen to develop my skills and experience within these areas.
Outside of Dentistry, I enjoy travelling and spending time with family & friends!
